This really could have been terrible, but it’s not
It’s always a challenge to translate inner thoughts, fears, doubts, and internal reactions to things like visions! The dubbing is pretty good in English, but I switched to Spanish with English subtitles and felt more comfortable.
I’ve read the book three times in my life and it’s fine
I’m glad they’re taking their time at the table, as setting the stage is important, and even then it feels a little rushed, but with sixteen episodes I’ll live with that. No expense has been spared on locations and sets, which helps build the atmosphere.
No censorship, please!
We’re looking forward to the questionable ethnic issues! “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming releases this month.
