I saw this film at the Woodstock Film Festival and went in without thinking – not really knowing the premise or anything about the director. I saw some solid actors in the room and thought why not?
This film was fascinating
The acting was incredible. The sets were breathtaking.
I couldn’t take my eyes off George MacKay (1917)
Tilda Swinton and Michael Shannon are always good. I don’t want to give too much away and I wish the imdb description had said a little less, but do try to see this film if you are open to creative and impactful storytelling.
I dare say that this film may well be my film of the year
The deep themes of human fragility are skillfully explored and I was incredibly moved by this work.
