Amid the bitter conflict between the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun, two sisters fight on opposing sides in a war between magical technology and conflicting beliefs. It already features Jinx and the city of Piltover. Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to create an animated series that took them several years to complete. After the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take a shorter time to produce. Enemy Written by Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman, Robin Fredriksson, Mattias Larsson, Justin Tranter, J.I.D. (like Destin Route starring Imagine Dragons ft. J.I.D.. Arcane tells the story of two young orphaned sisters who grow up and get into trouble in the cities of Zaun and Piltover. The series is based on the video game League of Legends. Even though you’re dropped straight into this fictional world, time and care is taken to create the locations and characters in a commendable “show-don’t-tell” style. The solid character development and world-building means it’s completely enjoyable to watch without knowing anything about the game. As an anime fan, I found the animation in Arcane to be far superior to anything I’ve ever seen in an animated series. There’s incredible attention to detail. It’s clear that no artistic talent or financial expense was spared in bringing the world of Runeterra to life. A great soundtrack, great acting, and a gripping story that doesn’t hold back when it comes to violence and more mature themes. So far, there have been just the first three episodes and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us!.
