The episode is a payoff
The subs and soundtrack for this anime are both released at the same time, which is a rare thing and I love both. I was really rooting for re:zero season3 to win this year (re:zero is probably one of my top 3 favorite animes) but after episode 7 it’s safe to say that this anime deserves anime of the year, or at least give that song a go.
