Original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games are presented in this animated anthology series. Video games have made a huge leap to the screen, and we celebrate the genre with a closer look at more than 50 video game adaptations into films and shows.. Clive Standen will reprise his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the main character in the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game.. Referenced in Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). I’ve always wanted a series like this. When watching cinematic trailers or cutscenes for video games, I often think that some of them could make for great television. I knew that the creators of Love Death and Robots would make another animated anthology series and I’m glad I was right. The Warhammer episode was definitely a highlight for me so far and I really hope to see more in the future. My only complaint would be that they gave me more time for certain episodes. There are so many great video game stories that this series can delve into and adapt into detailed episodes, the possibilities are very exciting and I’m glad I’ve been looking for a more edgy and adult tone all along. I’m very happy with what’s been shown so far and I’m looking forward to what’s next. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
